front disc conversion

I bought a '74 fj40 the guy had put on JTOutfitters front disc conversion kit and a 4runner master cylinder. Now I bleed the brakes but my brakes lock up. It seems that the m\c is not letting the fluid return. When I crack the bleeder the pressure is let out and the brakes work for about 3 pumps. Has anyone had this problem or know of a possible solution? thanks.

The problem is in the freeplay adjustment between MC & booster. The depth of the piston was changed in the mid-late 80's minitruck MC's, requiring serious adjusting or even grinding on the Cruiser booster pushrod.

had to cut about 3\16 off the booster pushrod brakes work great now thank you very much Fj40jim
