what front clips will fit my ij78, and what are they worth? and will ome heavy front coils be strong enough to carry a 3b, just starting my homework fork the project when i can afford it.

Front clip refers to body parts... and it sounds as though you're looking for springs??

There are spring options for the Prado, and the 3B will likely fit the engine bay without too many mods - but I haven't measured it.

i thought that the 3b was taller. i would have to modify the hood or change the front clip. what spring options are there, and will they handle the extra weight.

none of the HD front clips are a direct bolt on to a LJ but the mods are simple enough as long as you have a welder and common sense.

used to be a welder, so minor mods arent a problem. what kind of mods are we talking? how close do they fit? should i use motor mounts from the 3b, which came from 60 series or will i have to make new ones.

you will probably have to make new frame mounts or just slightly mod the 60 sereis if you gouge them out of the frame on the 60
the only real mod you need to do is make a reciever for the 2 front fender mounts of the heavy duty clip. cut off the light duty, weld on a tower for the heavy duty and the rest is a bolt up for sheet metal.
