Front Camera Lens Rock Chips?

Does anyone else's front camera look like this? Not sure if the cover can be replaced, or maybe just try to polish it out.

Some people laughed when i put on a phone “screen protector” over the front camera…to prevent such from happening (i hope). It won’t prevent a big rock from fracturing the glass though.

I believe that you have to replace the whole unit which is $$$$$$$$. The front camera resolution is pretty bad anyways…so, you won’t miss much.

No, but mine is cracked. I have never found it very useful, but recently realized it can be a great tool while going slow offroad. I wish mine was clear now, but as madtiger says they are very expensive to replace.

Mine looks like yours, totally s***ty. I was I could clear it up. I like it for parking and wheeling in 4Lo.

Are there any good aftermarket replacement units available? I see a variety on eBay, but am not sure they’re plug and play or what the quality is…

Mine was even in worse condition than yours.. bought a used one in better condition from an inmate, covered the new one it with Llumar paint protection..
