decided

i've decided to go to Bentup.
I like the arb, but the most wheeling im going to do is in the NJ pine Barrens, and a brushguard is all i really need. That, and the extra metal rather than the plastic. little over 800 bucks, including shipping.
6 week delivery. Maybe by then toyota will be able to let me know SOME idea of when the truck is coming.
5 weeks and counting...

I am another Demello bumper guy. Loved the design and think it will not only look great with the OME lift but will nbe super functional as well.

I have never seen an ARB bumper bend, crack, or deform whatsoever. As far as I know they are the strongest bumpers out there, and offer the most front end protection.
Never say "Never".

I like ARB, but I had a bumper fabricated locally for my Tundra because I wanted to be able to specify materials. My bumper is made from 1/4 inch plate metal and is very strong. The downside is that it is very heavy -- about 250lbs. with the winch. But, my wife plowed into another Tundra with this bumper and there was not a mark on it. She did major damage to the other Tundra.

I have not seen the AllPro, Fab Fours, Demello or Bentup bumpers in person so I don't have any idea about their build quality. All I can say is that the ARB is not the be-all and end-all for bumpers. Do your research and choose the one that is right for you. If you get a chance check them out in person at an offroading event or trail ride setup in your area. That is the only way to truly assess these bumpers.

I know my truck is dirty. I just got back from Sedona. I'll wash it in the morning.

I have an ARB on my FJ and I'm probably going to replace it with the Demello bumper. The ARB is very stout, functional and looks great, but it weighs a ton. The Demello bumper is compact, light, and will provide great protection. It also looks great!

Another vote for Demello. His bumper looks great - check his options for brush guarding the front. His customer service is top notch. He bought an FJC to have first hand experience making these items and to wheel it!

I have pretty much decided to go with the Demello also. Does anyone know which winches will fit it? Their web site does not say anything about it - I guess I will email or call them and see.

I've been researching and as apoint of interest, the Fab Fours and Expedition 1 bumpers are heavier plate than the Demello and All Pro. These are reputed to run about 105 to 125 lbs. The also incorporate lights, which is a nice extra.

While I like the Demello design, I'm not too crazy about sporting a big "DO" on my bow...
