Hello everyone.

Who know if bumper from other vehicule can fit on a 70 serie. Jeep, 4Runner, Ford, chevy... what else ?

I suppose everything can fit with some modification ?

Any idea ?

Someone already make it ? Pics ?

Thank

OK... So... nobody can help me

Someone know the ARB part # for a 70 bumper ?

And someone know the Warn part # for a 70 bumper ?

First I had a TJM aluminum bumper
Next I had a pipe welded onto the brackets on my HZJ73
The 3rd bumper was a couple of holes into a piece of 5inch angle iron with the winch mounted on a steel plate and I used the brackets from the TJM
Now I have a steel bumper that I found , I'll look for a couple of pictures.

But honestly I think my favorite bumper was the pipe one.
Although the TJM and ARB ones look great they stick out alot and the aluminum ones are so easy to bend.

Thanks

FWIW I really like the ARB bumper for the 70. It fits well and has good lines. I'd either just buy the ARB or have someone fab one up for you. Personally I've never really liked when bumpers made for another vehicle are retro fitted. You can tell the lines aren't quite right and don't look as good. Plus if your wheeling and using a winch a poor retro fit will bend or do other damange to the frame horns or bumper.

Oh.. and I think since ARB seattle services SA they usually have 7x items in stock. Call around for pricing.

It's a standard bumper. It's chrome and looks ok, not perfect but you can always get it re chromed. $20 Can. I am in Sask.

I took it off and made a short custom one because the majority of the roads where I live are gravel, and stones were bouncing off the inside of the bumper and hitting the front wings and the hood.
