Hey, guys. I am a new member here, and a new owner of my first Land Cruiser. It’s a 1985 FJ60 with around 141k miles on the 2F. It could use several things to make it a better daily driver, even though it looks really good for 32 years old. The PO had some custom bumpers put on; and while i will retain the rear, the front bumper is not appealing to the eyes. I’ve bought a decent used stock chrome bumper that i want to put on, but am having little luck finding a parts diagram for the whole bumper assembly or a guide to taking the bumper off. I am not sure what all the custom job is welded to, if anything. I should note that i am no mechanic! I can do some things that don’t require more than sockets, wrenches, and the like. Is there any help on the web for guidance on a project like this?

I appreciate the wealth of knowledge on this site, and plan to take advantage of it every opportunity i can.

Great place to go for diagrams and parts....Bought an 83 recently and I have probably placed 10 orders there to date for new and used parts from things as small as panel clips and other parts to get her just right.

Better place is TOYODIY.com which you can find the actual OEM Part numbers for the items. From there you have the option to purchase through them or double-check it is the right "thing" you are looking for and talk with our resident expert Onur (@beno). Always check with him as he will have the proper number and get you a great price. SOR is nice and does have some hard to find parts, but also charges you an arm and a leg and then some for shipping.
