I just finished putting ceramic front pads for a 100 series on my 91 about 100 miles ago. They seamed to fit with the grinding I learned somewhere on this forum. I think another problem arose though and I'm currently trying to track it down. My brake pedal goes to the floor and will not lock the brakes up (not even on gravel). I replaced the back brakes at the same time but I'm sure they are adjusted right. I adjusted them a little tight and I can lock them up with the E-brake. I have the OME 2.5 lift so I thought it may be the load sensing valve (LSV). I zip tied it up and nothing changed. I didn't turn the rotors but they look good.
DigitalKnight86---I don't mean to highjack you're thread, just thought this might apply to you too.
Can someone tell me the size of the blead valve fittings so I can do the FSM pressure test? Have a feeling the master cylinder is jacked. I can't even pump the brakes up.
What is the possibility of the LSV being bad and how can I test it. A friend of mine suggested removing the OEM one oand putting in a manually adjustable proportioning valve or even a preset one from onother truck
