Hi, I’ve got a 1975 non-US market FJ40 that’s had a front disc conversion at some point and I’m struggling to identify the calipers used- does anyone recognise these?

Thanks!

Yes definitely a DIY job! Unfortunately the bleed nipples have sheared and extraction hasn’t been successful so looking to see if I can find replacements. Pads seem to be Daihatsu as far as I can see

I’d say take this opportunity to shïtcan the South American junk and go with US specification 40/60/70 series system.
That’s the long term plan, but in the interim I was hoping for a quick replace to get me back on the road!

You got any local outfits like Mr. Brake. Experienced old guys could likely tell you what they are just by looking at them.
Pull one of the bolts and see if its metric threaded or not. Take out a pad and take good pic's of both sides that have scale measurements, plus the thickness. How many pistons, what size?
