Folks, I'm doing a frame off restoration on my 76 FJ40 and need a replacement front bib. I'm finding 79 and newer bibs but not older models. What is the difference from the 76 to the newer models? Will the newer bibs work on a 76?

it will fit, but in 79 they changed from round sides to squared off corners... ...

check the classified section. I am sure someone has one

Headlamp spacing (width) changed on 01/79 and later trucks with the introduction of the square headlamp bezel.


1970-1978 bibs interchange and use the round headlamp bezel and do not have marker lamps below the headlamps.




10/69 and earlier 40 series had marker lamps below the headlamp assemblies.




Bibs will interchange between years of trucks; 1958-1984.
