I've got a 1988 fj-62 that my Dad just gave me. I've got four kids to go along with the wife. Anyone know if I could bolt a bench seat up front? I dont care about the console.

It is possible to get a bench seat in front. In fact, there was a post about 2 months ago of a Non-USA cruiser that came stock with a bench seat. If you search you might be able to get one and not do much modding to fit it. Could be expensive to ship all that wight though. I'll see if I can find the link.

Here's the link. It's an Aussie seat so it's right hand drive. I don't think you could use it but it's food for thought.
