Front Bench seat to bucket and centre console conversion (1 Viewer)

I have the basic 105 series, 6 cylinder diesel turboed and 5 speed manual gearbox. It came with drivers bucket seat and a double seat for passengers with no console.

Removed the front double and replaced with a 100 series standard front bucket and centre console from car wrecking yeard. The big problem i had was that i could only buy the console top for an automatic not a manual. The holes for gear selection were not even close to being similar.

First project was to insert some platic and cover up the auto hole. I also put in some switchgear, double USB charger, light bar switch and spot light switch in the three switch positions on the console as well as two volt meters for the batteries.

Last week I tidied up the the console even more, covered in velour trim and i serted a boost and water temp gauge.

Nice job of fabricating that console.
Wish we Yanks could get the manual transmission, and I kinda like the "old school" bench seating.

Hey man I know it’s been a while but do you have any measurements or template or anything at all I love the look of it and want to do something similar cheers
