Wanted front axles? (1 Viewer)

hey all im in the process of building a 74 fj40. I have swapped in a front axle out of a 78 with disk brakes but my pops stole the axles out of it cause he snapped both of his while i was away at school. so if you have any front axles for fairly cheap lemme know i need both sides, inner and outer.

I can probably help you out if you're in the northeast. I have at least two extra sets of coarse birf front axles. They should be the same ones your 40 came with stock. Pick them up and I'll throw in a 3rd member.

actually im in the st.louis area and which splines are you referring too? i thought the disk brakes were the fine spline and the course splines were for drum.

A '74 should have 27-spline inner axles with 6-spline Birfs.

yes but i swapped in an axle out of a 78 fj40 so i can have disk brakes
