Getting oil changed at Serra and they just showed me that my right CV boot is torn so I need to re boot it before it screws up the CV. Matt I guess I'm going to need to borrow that drift and 54mm socket. Maybe Keith and I can do our front ends at the same time.

And they say my H2O pump is weeping so I will have to do that with the timing belt at some point as well.

I'll join the front end party.
And most likely the timing belt party as well.
Looks like we got lots of work weekends coming together.

Maybe we can find a shop to use... Or do it in a breweries parking lot.

Pretty sure Matt does.
I have one but it's a POS and dangerous.
You can also "rent" them from most parts stores.

I've got a compressor and air tools and my place. Got space to work on probably three trucks at a time. Also got the garage fridge, though not the vintage beer collection clank has, er..... Had ;)

Only catch is the weekend of 12/8-9 and 15-16 are both out for me, which leaves weekends before Christmas and NYE. Those are probably tough for all of us with families.

Ok, great service from Sam I placed the order Friday and just got my 2 reboot kits and 2 new axle seals 10 minutes ago. So I need to get this done sooner than later. Is anyone with any experience in tearing down the front end available for a wrenching session this week or weekend?

Not likely for me... I'll be in Auburn this weekend, "gettin my drink on and my snack on."

Thursday, Friday or Saturday and I am good with anyones time

I believe we are on for Saturday as jemsec has done his and he will be back in town.

I don't have my parts yet, but I would like to get involved just to get a look at what I am in for when I get my rebuild kit. I am planning on doing seals and bearings ASAP. Been talking about it too long, but now I am starting to hear noises I don't like. Can't put this off much longer.

I think they are going to be working on 100's and having a tea party, I could be wrong though.

We will be working on a 100. If you feel left out Matt, you can have an 80 party and serve Rocky Mountain oysters

Glad you said something, Matt. I don't know where I would find a pair of pink panties in my size. I spoze I could keep the Bellini flowing while they wrenched.
