All purchased from Georg at Valley Hybrids for an original plan of adding disc brakes and power steering, that's since been abandoned in an effort to keep the Pig OE.

Purchased and received two weeks ago.

All I've done is ran through the parts washer.

I have an open book policy regarding classified ads for two reasons.

First, I'm not an early Cruiser expert. What you see is what I know.

Second, my intention isn't to profit, but recoup a portion.

Quote from Georg's email:

"hey chris. thanks for the email and your patience! here's a list of the items i'll be happy to supply for your disc brake conversion:

1) complete disc brake knuckle kit $300
2) knuckle rebuild kit with oem seals and bearings $95
3) complete wheel hub bearing kit OEM $90
4) spindle lock kits $24
5) braided brake line kit $120 ( all 4 lines but will need measurements )

****NO STAINLESS LINES INCLUDED****

shipping for these parts should be around $60 since they're pretty heavy.

I have everything in stock. parts you'll want to get from CDan:
1) pair of oem brake rotors for an FJ60
2) pair of oem loaded reman brake calipers
3) pair of oem c-cips for the inner axles to the birfs and that should do it.

I will of course inspect all the parts and hardware before I ship them to ensure that they're in very good used condition. if there are any issues whatsoever, I will send a replacement part no questions asked."

Second part:

"Hey Chris. Thanks for the reply. The 60TRE kit is $109 which would bring the total to $678."

-End Quote.

I have $678 invested in the transaction, $60 of which is shipping, so consider it a starting price of $600 for everything and I'll cover shipping in CONUS, to make the clean and simple.

$600 for all, OBO.

Would separate the 555 TREs only, at this point, for $110 shipped in CONUS.

Note: If sending a PM, post in thread "PM Sent" to establish timeline of inquiry.

If it gets squirrelly, the order of respondents in thread will take precedence over any PM activity, so doing so insures that everyone is aware of the interest and no one feels left out.

I invite any potentially interested parties to check me out and Paypal is preferred.

Thanks,
Chris

Reasonable offers will be considered.

As for trades, this is a feed the Pig drive and cash , or a derivative of, is preferred, since most funds are being accumulated and directly sent to beno's new employer.

Lowe Toyota gift cards will be accepted as cash at face value or woman who's an accomplished Turkish cook, a good wrencher, LC lover, preferably easy to look at, will work too. (For Onur, baby. Not me.) Value TBD.

The only other items I "need", at this point, are:

New in box weather stripping

New in box headliner

Hey chris.
What happened?! You're not putting disc brakes on the front????????? May I ask why?
I think it's the single most important upgrade to an early cruiser .........

PM on its way...have a couple of questions. - Justin

Georg,
I consternated over for some time, but in a true resto spirit and attempt, forgoing disc, PS, and AC.

I know, I know, a fully restored Pig is worth a penny more than a plug nickel, but for some reason feel keeping it OE simple makes sense, and will be a product that can pass to the kids...after I've driven the chit out of it for many, many, many years on little runs around town.

I think it's the single most important upgrade to an early cruiser .........
Respectfully.

While I agree, for the intended usage of mine the OE approach will suffice.

There aren't many, if any, fully restored OE Pigs in existence. I realize your affinity for LCs stops short of the 55 (hahahaha) but I like 'em.

This will be a Sunday driver for me and, a true departure from her LC roots, may never see much more than dirt road "wheeling" duties.

That said, I've been fully infected by swine flu (picking up another one tomorrow, even) so I've little doubt that a wheeling Pig is in my future that disc, PS, AC and a built 2F, 1FZ, or 2UZ (notice, no talk of Chebby. Ha) and if these listed 60 components aren't used to complete someone else's early disc conversion, will be stored until then or will be installed on the axles I'm tearing off the new Pig carcass, for future use or sale.

(On the swine flu note: I'm began exhibiting symptoms of another disease that I caught after a recent visit to my buddy Josh's shop in OKC...

but was inoculated with the total of the first invoice from beno for the OE Pig parts. Thinking I'm safe for a year or two from the 45 flu.)

I had plans to originally build this as a wheeler and that changed.

When the time comes for the wheeler, I'll stop at nothing and spare no expense to see that it sees time in Stockton to shave some fat and other metal artistry, along with a host of other incidentals.

Don't know how long that may be, honestly. Thinking I'm in for a year of dedicated time to this Pig, and I still have three or four "real" jobs, too.

Anyhow, this ad won't remain for long. If these don't find a home quickly, they will on one of my future projects.

I'm clearing out space and have a boatload of 80 stuff, Pig parts, and other incidentals to list, this was just the easiest.

Thanks Georg,

Chris
