getting ready to install an engel fridge with slide in the 100 but will be doing so without a drawer setup. Anyone else doing this and if so how'd you mount the slide?

In my previous '87, I came up with this approach. I haven't done the same in my current 100, but since you asked:

- Measure and drill holes through body [non-starter for some]. Paint, prime, silicone or otherwise to prevent rust.
- Measure and create simple slits in capet to match drilled holes
- Find largish rubber stoppers at hardware store, drill hole through for bolts
- Thread [stainless] bolts through stoppers to suspend and isolate fridge mounting above carpet.
- Tighten bolts to compress stopper a bit. You can potentially skip this, but felt it a nice feature.
- Mount fridge to slide as usual.

Not sure of measurements from memory, but these give an idea:

I used the EPDM versions, easily found at local stores.

HTH for a thought starter. Maybe it's possible to create some 'quick release' method to allow you to remove easily and not have major hardware sticking up into cabin to mess up items when not using fridge.

You could cut some plywood to use as a base and mount the slides to that instead of drilling through your floor. If you're jump seats are removed you could use the existing striker plates in the floor to secure the plywood to.

This is exactly what I'm looking to do right now. Just got my fridge today and I'm not doing drawers/slide (yet) so I'm in the same boat. I like the J-bolts idea. I need to search to see what other people did too.

I have a u bolt on the back one (back of vehicle) and a j bolt on the seat bracket closer to the front. Works well.

Yep I installed a sheet of ply (covered in carpet), and secured it using the existing 3rd row seat bolt holes, works great, you may also want to consider making a U shaped barrier around the edges to prevent things falling in behind the fridge when the slide is out. This enabled somewhere to mount my air compressor on the side as well, and store things between fridge and wheel arch.

As others have suggested a plywood floor bolted to the truck floor will allow you to mount up the slide and it will be super stable.

I made my own slide and used bolts through the fridge slide base into the third row seat mount threads.

If your slide bottom isn't set up that way, a plywood mount seems like the only way to avoid making jokes in your vehicle.
