I HAVE to get out skiing this year! I've been once since my knee replacements making for a $600 cost of the trip on top of lift ticket, etc. That was the cost of the knee braces I got so I could continue to ski!

I bring them anytime I may need them, but haven't needed them yet. I guess that's a good thing. Thinking about a Mammoth and Lake Tahoe road trip later this month so maybe this is my chance...

LOL - Twice to Tahoe to ski and rolled into chain checkpoints. They asked if I had chains on board and I said yes - I did. Twice, the check point closed about 1/2 hour after I rolled thru - it was nasty. I never ever had to put the chains on. These trucks are beasts! Now I feel very, very protected with two sets, which I've always wanted to have handy!
