Another very helpful HAM feature I use every time Im out is NORA weather for up to date weather and future conditions. The reports are available 24hs/day across the US. We have several channels for AZ depending on where you are in state. A nice added bonus if you are roaming the state.

What exactly is this free Public Test Session? Is this were we actually take the test or is it a learning session about the test?

At the Off camber event Yoshi (Thoreau) generously offered to administer a ham license test for anywhere from 2 to many people for anyone interested ... and for no charge.

If we could get some people to commit to a future date, we can set something up.

Yeah, I wasn't quite ready at off camber. Probably should have given it a shot. If we could set something up for the group, that would be cool.
