Looking to purchase a 200. Noticed one for sale and seller sent me pics of the undercarriage and frame. What do you all think of the amount of rust?

It's a lot, but IMHO not hopeless. Plan on significant remedial work and dealing with rusted nuts/bolts when you work on it mechanically. Prices of these things are still crazy high and they are scarce in some areas, but use that amount of rust as a big negotiating factor. Can you look at it in person before you buy?

KDSS is almost guaranteed to be a lost cause on that truck. The fact that I have zero competence in ANY Toyota dealer to do a ground-up replacemenot should be reason enough to avoid this one…..

Thanks for the info. I was thinking it was rusty before posting - but wanted some other opinions. Search moves on, ha.

As long as it isnt like on my 200 who has nearly no sill plates anymore… don’t care about. The 200s frame is extremly massive. Cleaning, sealing, done.

But better if you give us some pictures.
