Any reason not to? Other than looks, which I could give a rat's ass about.

I'm sure the answer is on POR, but I can't search that POS.

I have 8' of 2x.25 left over from my square drive shaft.

I even have 8' of 2.5x.25 if I have to sleeve it, but that would weigh about 900 lbs.:)

I was thinking about using the bushing ends from a set of 80 lowers. About 1/8 of grinding the tube square will give a good interference fit.

The 80 lowers themselves are too thin, too short and one is already bent.

They are strong and fairly functional. Not quite as strong as tubing of the same diameter, but you shoudl be fine.

Eventually. Bobbing 18 inches by sectioning out of behind the rear wheels. I'm thinking really strongly about going Sand Spider and taking the roof off.

I will certainly bob the frame after the spring swap. I'm tired of not making that fawking two step.

Really all I needed to do was fix the anti-wrap I ripped the mount on. It seemed silly to fix something I was thinking about removing, so WTF, might as well four link it.

That makes sense, right?

let me know if you need a hand..... gotta put the district 203 tax dollars to use right?

Plugging in numbers to the Xtreme caclulator.

I'm getting 9% anti squat
26 in roll center
5 deg Roll Axis
-264 instant center X
-7 instant center Z

Using 40 in straight lowers and trianglulated uppers mounted 30 in from the axle center line. I haven't done the math to determine the length of the uppers. I assume they are a bit long as 75% of the length of the lowers is 30 inches not counting the angle. Doing the math, probably incorrectly, tells me that the uppers will be 40" with a 25" seperation at the axle

Any input on those numbers? I couldn't tell you what any of them mean even after reading the God of Suspension and 4 link for dummies thread.

Some of the numbers are rough. I went out to do actual measurements this morning, but I was brilliant enough to move the truck outside yesterday and it's storming out. I'll get good numbers at lunch.

New numbers with actual vehicle specs punched in.

58% anti squat
26 in roll center
7 degrees roll axis
185 IC x
40 IC z

I don't know if that's better or not.

I tweaked it a bit and came up with 86% AS. I think that's as high as I want, but I'm still not sure.
