Wanted FOUND Spring for Glass Bowl Fuel Filter

I installed an older glass bowl fuel filter on my '71 FJ40 this afternoon (to get it drivable for the first time in over 17 years) and discovered I'm missing the spring that holds the filter element in place. The filter kit that's still available new from Toyota (kind of surprised at this) includes the gasket and the element, but not the spring, which is discontinued. Part ID 23333 in the diagram below. Does anyone have an extra one of these lying around in their parts stash?

Interesting. I purchased 23300-30012 maybe a year ago and it included the spring. Might order a few more just to have on the shelf...and see if they come with spring.

That's what I'm seeing with a lot of the older parts I've had to buy for my build, mainly gaskets for lights - rear combination lights, back-up light, etc. The gaskets are no longer available separately but they're included with the assembly.
