So how is this coming along?

I'm looking for one of these and hope I can get as lucky as you did.

 My CL350 is on the road, too, but I have a right cylinder problem. :frown: Hope to figure it out this weekend, though. ;)

Elbow grease cures many ills! :bounce:

Have you seen Dime City Cycles yet? They seem to be really geared towards the honda 350s & 450s.

Well, I have not opened the carbs other than the bowls, and I have not done all the electrics yet. It might be something as simple as a plugged jet or a bad low-voltage connection on one of the coils, or maybe a bad coil. I have it on my plate this weekend, I'll get it. . . .

Hey Jman
I had a bad coil and the right side wouldn't fire. I swiched the plug , coil and points wires from left to right and the right side fired up. That equals a bad coil. Found a set on ebay. All the 12v coils work I actually got a set from a 360, they fit funny but work fine.

Turns out coils are fine. I mean, really fine.

Looks like the problem might be a non-OEM petcock that the PO has messed around with--it was starving the engine, and usually the right cylinder would die first. I tried cleaning it, twice, with no improvement. This would happen with the gas cap off, even, so it wasn't the cap venting.

OEM petcock on order. Should know by this weekend if that was it. . . .

Just bought this '69 CB350K1, almost all original with 3300 miles. I'm going to go get it next week. Very excited. :bounce:
