Go with your gut and most times you make the right choice. Seems too strange to me. Be patient awesome rigs are out there. I got my 2000 LC for 8k in jan. he had every record for it. All dealer serviced and literally a binder of everything that has ever been done to it. They are out there. Patients is the key here. Look everyday and soon enough you will know when you find the one

I think this seller still has this rig. I have not seem anything else pop up in Phoenix. I would like to buy something under 8k in the next few months. Has anyone else called this person to find out about the rig? Woukd be interesting to hear how he tries to sell it and if he continues to fib about how long he has owned it.

Create an account on Toyota Owners site and enter the VIN so you can see any Toyota service history. Great feature to use to help you identify what's been done.
Yes; invaluable tool for referencing dealer service history. Also works wonders on the Lexus site for LX470s... I luckily passed on many cars that looked perfect cosmetically but on the site I would find (on nearly every LX for sale) that they needed +/- $6,000 worth of work which the seller was trying to pass onto the new buyer. Bummer deal! Obviously all used cars will need some work but $6k, that's a heck of a lot.
