While out wheeling today I came acroas a guy who has an old fj25 sitting behind his house! I've been looking for a 25 for years! I had seen this particular truck before but since it is so far off the pavement I assumed it was just an early 40. I had an extra 3 speed tranny that I was taking to the dump so I stopped by his place under the guise of charity, but I really wanted to see the old cruiser-long story short, it is a rust free, original 1960 soft top. Unfortunately I got so excited that I didnt get the VIN # or check for goodies, I didnt even get photos. It hasnt ran in at least twenty years. I'm hopeful the guy might be willing to part with it. It has an early hardtop on it but has no windshield frame, other than that I didnt notice anything butchered or missing, just neglected. Ditto with under the hood. What is a fair price that I should offer for it? I'm thinking $800 to start with?

sounds like a good starting price. If its really rust free and complete, that'd be a good deal. Pics would help better judge though.

I agree completely about the "useless without photos", sad thing is I had a fricken camera with me. It will be a while before I go back as I need to save the cash so I have it in hand when I negiotiate. man I want that truck, my 65 fj40 blew the motor while in the midwest in 1989-I've been looking for a replacement since

Hey Jim (Cruiser_Nerd) how long has it been since you only had A FJ25 as in only one ? I too over the years have look at a couple of Nissan Patrols but never found one original enough to restore. So I decided go with something that parts are cheap and easy to find. Mike how much did you say those emblems were ?

Most of the Patrols I've looked at came as package deals also.
