So I did the dumb when doing the heads and disassembled my 100 series without a manual. Didn’t think anything about it. When assembling using the manual, I noticed that I skipped over locking the two piece cams so now I get a spin no start. Didn’t know if someone had the procedure for rewinding or whatever I needed to do to the two-piece Cam so that it’s happy again. Nothing in the manual, Google, and search aren’t showing me anything. Thanks in advance.

FSM should have the procedure, but IIRC it's clamp the cam in the vice (on the hex portion of the cam, please don't clamp on a bearing journal!), use a pin spanner type wrench and rotate the gear into place, and then use a 6mm bolt through from the back to lock it in the 'cocked' position. You can then insert the cam in the head, attach the bearing caps, and then remove the locking bolt (assuming the other cam is in position.

Ok thank you. Yeah I have book that’s for the 3-4 engines so it’s not as detailed. I’ll try to find the FSM on here
