just picked up a very lightly used set of these on fleabay . My question is for those of you who have the center console cover . Is it supposed to be a two piece ? I have the top slip but nothing to attach the Velcro strips to . I was thinking of possibly buying some sticky sided Velcro to put under lid or am I actually missing a whole piece ? I looked on the SOR website but couldn't find the info I'm looking for .

There is one Velcro strip on each side and one in the back that slips through the hinge.

Ok I see now . I'm missing the sticky sided Velcro that I see on yours . Easy fix . Thank you .

The attachment inside the console lid is definitely something that could have been done better... here's your chance.

Otherwise I've been very happy with the fit + finish of my covers, now 4 years in.

My wife is pretty handy with a sewing machine and she already has some some hd black material and Velcro strips . I'm bypassing the sticky sided velcro and going this route .

There's an "industrial strength Velcro" that's much better than that which comes with Spector's cover. Will be using it on mine tomorrow. Had hard time fitting the headrest covers but everything else is ok. Tough, waterproof and loves dog hair. Mine are brown and dog is a Yellow Lab. Bad combination.

But when your dog craps all over them, they wash up nice. Unless you forget to check the back pocket for magazines...

What is the recommended way of washing these ? I had some similar ones on my heep and I washed them by hand in 5 gal bucket with mild detergent . Work well .

My dog respects her vehicle and wouldn't do such a thing. She's a real lady. What do you have? A crap anywhere pooch.

If you need some guidance just ask.

Uh I don't have a pooch and wasn't the one who brought up crapping . I was only asking what method of cleaning people were using . I'm glad your lady respects your truck though .

Machine wash, cold water, line dry. They came out fine, just covered in paper wads.

I have washed mine in the machine - cold water, gentle cycle, regular detergent. Air dry. No issues. They will fade a little from sun and heat before the washer does anything.

That being said, it's not like I'm washing them all the time. Mine are also brown and they can hide a lot of things...
