WTB I am looking for a set 3:70 third members from a fj60 or late model fj40. I'm in Beaufort and just thought I'd ask around locally. If y'all know of anyone who might have some, let me know. Thanks. I keep hoping to drive up there and meet some of y'all but with a top speed of 50 and steadily increasing reliability, I haven't made it yet.

Here's a build thread from a college buddy who just bought 3 of them from Memphis Equipment, the largest dealer in the country. While too far to drive, they may help to find a good source closer.WTB - an M416 or M101 CDN 1/4 ton trailer. iIt will be cut and get modified. I'd prefer to find one that is straight, but will consider a trailer with some minor character.
My plan is to widen it and lengthen it; will likely replace axle as well.
Cross posting to other clubhouses as well.

Out of curiosity, why not build a custom trailer if you're going to that much work?
416's are pretty pricey... There's one in Philadelphia for like $900 and nothing much closer in reasonable shape or price. 101's can be had all day long from military surplus dealers for a reasonable price.
Yeah, I fell in love immediately with Steve's trailer... It just needed an RTT. It is super nice! The 'M101 CDN' is the Canadian version of the 416. Same effective size and shape. I am actually going to pick up a M101(A1) for work - agreed on purchase, just have to go get it.
I considered a M101 - the full(er) sized trailer - for my purpose, but I believe it would be too big behind the -40 on a regular basis.
Seeing Steve's M416 @ OTMT was the deciding factor.
If you end up with a m101a2 3/4 ton trailer in good shape I'd trade you my m416 for it. I just don't want to mess with selling it then trying to find another trailer fast, as I use mine at least 2x per week. The 'M101 CDN' is the Canadian version of the 416.
