My "steal!" today is unique! Luxury...it ain't. Cool? Absolutely.

Today's "steal" is FOR SALE! 1978 Toyota FJ LandCriuser... 4wd, v6, hard top [removable], very original state with only one repaint - still original color, all buttons work, doors come off, top comes off, windsheild folds down, includes tailgate to put in when top is off.
The NADA book value shows an "average" retail of $9,350 and a "high" retail of $17,200. You can look cooler than all your friends for only *$12,500! Check these out on ebay...bringing big bucks in this kind of shape!

V6, did he even open the hood?

All buttons work. Can't think of a single button in a FJ40, it's all pull knobs.

Very original state except for the wheels, flares, front bumper, and aux lights.

I'm just nitpicking, looks a whole lot better than my FJ40.

It is way high, but I have seen it in person and it is very nice. There used to be more pictures on the rover site, I think it may have some rust issues IIRC.

Yes and no, with your commute you could probably DD one for a lot of the year.

I'm going off one picture... the one above and before i saw ya'lls comments.... it's been flat black'd all over and rust is peeping out the spring packs... Wouldn't stop me from buying it, it'd just make me not trust a word outta the sellers mouth about it.


And i love those original side mirrors
