These are nice little speakers - Thanks, Phil!

I have some of these. They work great and stay charged for a good chunk of time.

Not made to EBay yet:rolleyes:

My inventory is still high

Put me down for 2 speakers

Phil,
I'll take 2. Next club meeting is the 21st so maybe I can meet up with you somewhere or I may be on the east side later next week.

Thanks,
Norm

Just out of curiosity, anybody used their solar cell / battery chargers? I have heard the chargers WITHOUT "Pro" on them tend to overheat / and Goal Zero is reluctant to replace under warranty.

See them all the time on Amazon. And Costco had a road show the other day. All of the chargers were missing "Pro" from the labels. :hhmm:

I have one and can't find the word "Pro" on it. Worked for keeping the cell phone and spare battery charged during an 8-day campout last summer. :meh: Did it get hot? Yeah, it was sitting in the sun on a 90+ degree day at 8000 feet... Nothing melted, and it charged stuff ok. I actually put whatever I was charging underneath the shade of the panels if at all possible (while still trying to get as perpendicular as possible to the sun). So, take that for what it's worth, a sample size of 1...

Getting the sale back on track...This speaker will last 6+ hours on a charge. They can be charged from any USB plug including the Goal Zero lantern sold previously. MP3 player can be had for $10 now days so you can put together a go anywhere rechargeable music system for around for ~$33.33

I like that I can take my Ipod and zip it up inside the speaker unit itself for protection unlike the unit I used previously. Being that I use this outside mostly, this is a big bonus. I can play it with decent volume for 3 hours with plenty of battery power remaining. Good bang for the $$

Phil,
Not clear from the thread if you still have the lanterns:idea:. If so I'll take 1 combo (1 lantern plus speakers). If not I'll settle for two sets of speakers.
Thanks
