Just as the title says.

I am unloading a brand new roller fairlead and the 100' 5/16 wire rope. Never been used. Hell, never even been outside. Never been on the truck.

I'll give the HDC guys first shot and then move on to the "For Sale" section.

Priced new is about $230. You can own them both for $150.

Buy it before the meeting and I'll bring them both with me.

Ah, you got that new winch! Can't wait to see it go to work on the front of the Lexus...

Keep us posted on what kind of synthetic line you decide to go with - I'm researching for future needs/wants.

I already bought 100' 5/16" Masterpull with the safety locking hook. I'm completing the winch install as we speak. Wish I had the line to hook up as well. I guess I'll have to keep waiting.

From my research most ropes and prices were similar until you start looking at the super heat crazy stuff. I didn't care about that. Most heat on the drum from what I understand is from letting line out under weight and I doubt that will be a part of my game. Choosing rope seemed to be alot like tire conversations. Some swear-by and other's love while Joe blow has seen that one break every time. Whatever. I didn't like the blue color from Winchline.com (viking Amsteel blue) so I got the Masterpull. I'll go to REI and get some climbing webbing as a rock guard and to protect the outer wrap. Much cheaper this way than to buy what they offer online as a rock guard since it is really just climbing webbing.
