I have an eBay knock off safari snorkel. I installed the tundra antenna with zero issues.

The tundra antenna has a new grommet already installed on the wire. You remove the original grommet and press the new one into the hole in the firewall. It's quite difficult to get pressed all the way in, but results in a water tight fit once completed.

I went the pay an obscene amount of money route, and had the factory motor and mast installed at the dealer. $500.00

Great Scott! $500 for the original telescoping antenna!!!!

I rolled for about 8 months with only the rear quarter window antenna because my truck was purchased with no front antenna installed.

So it's confirmed that the tundra antenna will fit with a snorkel without the cutout like Safari? Just installed my snorkel and decided to remove the power antenna. I have about 1/3 of the hole showing plus some scratched paint from the stock mast. I covered it all with a piece or neroprene but have no antenna. Was thinking of running an aftermarket to the roof, but this seems like a double win. Has anyone installed the tundra mast with the updated safari snorkel? Without any modification to the snorkel?
