I have an '88 FJ62 that I want to change all the fluids in. I use Amsoil products in all my other vehicles. For example, Toyota calls for DextronII for auto. trans. and power steering and Amsoil ATF is replacement for Dextron III. Am I OK? How strict should I stick to what the service manual calls for on a vehicle with 228K? Thanks

Someone can correct me but... in my corolla 4wd, I need ATF type T in my auto trans.

I don't know for FJ62 wile I have a manual trans in my BJ70...

I've been using Dexron III in the power steering reservoir and in the tranny and t-case with no problems.
