Just Fluid Filmed the beast! Stuff is pretty sweet! Used a spray gun off Amazon and a gallon of Fluid Film black. I was surprised how clean it went on and barely got on me or the driveway. Just filled my spray gun cup up and heated it up a little with a heat gun. Used about a little over 3/4 of the gallon. Didn’t have time to take a lot of pics. Tac’d out my spray gun with a flashlight!
Felt bad hitting my new pretty Dobinsons springs and shocks but it’ll help them last I guess.

I need to do this to my LC200. Perhaps if I paid more attention to preserving the undercarriage I would still have my FJ60. Does this need to be done with the vehicle on a lift?

No, I just did mine with a jack and some jack stands but I lift would be great!

I watched a video of doing this and they had holes (not rust holes) in the frame to get the tube up into to hit the inside of the frame. Were you able to do that? And thanks for the help.

I didn’t use the hose extensions since it was my first time using the Fluid Film and first time using the spray gun, I was just worried about getting it to work. I just pushed the nozzle into the holes I could get to and sprayed a bunch into them. Now that I know how it works I will definitely use the extensions the next time I apply it in the Spring or next Fall.

I have been using Fluid Film for years, works great if applied every year. I use a small crock pot to heat it up so it sprays well.
