Florida Roadtrip - part 2

Just got home tonight from a roadtrip in the 80 with a friend.
I had posted originally in Chat about this but stuff cycles through there so fast and i thought this "could" fit in here.

Anyways, I left northern VA. Went down through tenn, and alabama to pensacola, FL.

From there we went to Tallahasee, Orlando, miami, then up to Charleston and back home.

It was an amazing trip and the 80 did great. I averaged 13.5 mpg with 4.88's and 35's.

the truck has zero problems except a leaky pinion seal.

Our last night out we stayed in Charleston, SC.

I absolutely love it there, plus we stayed in a house of 25 CofC girls.

2 guys, 25 girls....it was a night to remember.

After seeing about 30 or so signs on i-95 for that place we figured we had to stop...

it was a little disappointing.

I dont even want to think about it. Its probably in the neighborhood of 500-600 dollars total on gas alone. Granted my friend and i split it 50/50.

Either way it was totally worth it.

This summer were gonna try to do a west coast trip although im afraid it may not be in the 80. if we can get 20-25 in something else it would save alot of $$$
