I'm curious if anyone has tried to get a @Racer 73-78 floor mat to work in an early FJ45. I'm aware there are differences in transmission tunnels, seat mount and floor shape between the 1967 FJ45 (what I have) and the rigs the mat is made for. I'm just wondering if it could be trimmed to fit decent? Has anyone tried?

The RHD side floor (fuel tank side) on a later 45 is some 100mm longer than that of a comparable 40, so that may be an issue to you. On the LHD side, the under seat toolbox requires the mat to be cut.

Shifter holes can be cut easily enough and you can make it work with no extra cutting.
