Floor jack Recommendations

Looking for a good floor jack that can lift a lifted 2” FJ62 up high enough to get the wheels off the ground. Right now with the standard 3.5 ton I can get 6 ton stand under the chassis but the suspension droops enough that the wheels dont leave the ground. Looking for recs on a good floor jack that can lift this thing up.

I always used the Toyota mechanical screw jack that came with the vehicle. I had 3 of them. They are short enough to get under the U-bolt backing plate, or at least the bottom of the spring pack right next to the backing plate and lift the vehicle up plenty high for a tire change or whatever. And since they’re mechanical and not hydraulic, they’re super safe extended.

I lift from under the differentials so there is no suspension droop to worry about. It is uneven due to the offset location of the differential. I have also lifted from under the spring pack near the axle or if you have flipped u-bolts or a skid u-bolt skid plate, from under that location.

Once lifted you can put jack stands under the axle(s) or under the frame.

Ya I lifted from under the diff on the front but when I put a jack stand under the frame and let the diff/axel assembly drop down the tire touches the ground. I lift as high as the jack will go and the 6 ton jack stands dont get notched high enough. I didnt have enough room between the jack and the diff and the axel assembly to get the jack stand to seat properly. So really could only put a stand under the frame. Trying to get both front wheels off at once to drain the power steering using the pump to push the fluid out.

Hi, Have OTC floor jack and engine lift not cheap but I want to keep living and have all body parts in good shape. I also have a Hein Werner floor jack and its great.
