Rebuilding/booting my CVs on my 100. Inner race on the inboard joint has some small wear areas from balls. Not bad but I can see them getting worse. From what I can see, it seems like you might be able to just flip the inner race over and have the wear be on the "new" outside surface. Any thoughts on this? The race seems uniform design in both directions.

Thanks,
Phil

Anyone? I'm leaning towards yes because the race looks uniform on both sides and there are no markings...

When I rebooted one for my LX, I noticed the same as you, and did flip the inner race to move the worn areas to the Reverse side.

I haven't experienced any issues in 3-4k miles
