Don't know about the stock alloys, but the FJ steelies weigh about 30 lbs

I have them on my 80, they look nice

I almost did .

What I need really is a 4" backspace 17x8, and I couldn't find one through Discount that wouldn't be overly expensive. The FJC steelies @ 4.5" would let the 37's rub the inner rears good, but a 1" spacer is too much visually without flares. I put on 1" spacers this summer and didn't like it, started to look like a low rider.

I can't just drop the bumpstops on a 3.5" lift to 3", because I'd only have ~3" of up travel in the rear - not enough.

315 Toyos it is. Will be those 37" STT's next time. The gears turned hard, I think my head started smoking today
