I went down to SERVCO Mapunapuna and talked to one of their salespeople about the FJC. All other details aside, he will let you browse their shipping orders and you can reserve one for $100 fully refundable if you dont like it or change your mind.

Going price is MSRP no added markup. Seems fair to me to get one of the first couple dozen FJ's. Maybe by summer they will go down a little from MSRP.

I also gave the saleperson the URL to this forum which he was very interested in. Maybe he can chime in if he reads this post.

:cheers:

That's very interesting........I had to give my left nut to hold one. The things you do for love !!!!!!lol

Why such a problem to hold one for you?
How much money did they want?

Cheers,
Nick

Thanks. I am sure your FJC will be very nice too.
Where about in Canada do you live?

Hey Nick, sorry for getting back to you. I live Calgary, with close ties in Cranbrook. Once I get it........it will be time for a road trip!!!

i just got a call from my salesperson, apparently the FJCruisers are on the ground in Hawaii but they arent allowed to sell any of them yet. Toyota hasnt offically released them. I'm going down to the docks tomorrow to check them out and hopefully pick one out.

Ooooooh sweet! If you do get it, write a full review, then let me drive it around! I'm awful good at driving! :P

Went down to check them out on Friday... Heres some pics from Honolulu Harbor...

you guys are going to love this. I went down to put my deposit on a blue 6-speed 4x4 and after the painless 15 minutes waiting for the paperwork I found out I was only the 5th person to put a deposit on a FJ Cruiser in Hawaii.

The other 4 deposits were for 2WD units.

:banana::banana::banana::banana::banana::banana::banana::banana::banana::banana::banana::banana:

So i'll get the first 4x4 in Hawaii and I only put my deposit down just about an hour ago.
