FJ62 X-FER Case removal??

Hey all,

I've got a trans and transfercase off an '88 FJ62 and was wondering if the transfer case has fasteners within the case that have to be removed in order to get it off the tranny?

Or, said another way does the x-fer case have to be split to remove it from the trans?

Also...what do you all think is a fair price on this transfer case?

Yes inside fastners. As for a fair price depends on what your location will allow. Check on line at some of the used parts brokers and compare.
