I'm a total noob here. I bought a 1988 LC 62 about a month ago and have been having a blast tinkering with her to bring her back top form. The engine, trans and drive train are all in excellent condition so I've mostly been focusing on the interior fixing dash lights, stuck windows, door locks, broken bits, etc.

I'm now working to restore the center console but can't seem to locate a switch for the rear heater. I was considering using a 3 position switch w/ 4 pins and wiring it directly since the original switch, see below, uses 4-pins. I know enough about electronics to be dangerous but hoping someone can guide me so I don't blow up all my electrics. Is this possible and if so, which color wires go where?

Can i use a switch like this and just wire it in directly?

You might check with these guys, no affiliation, just a happy customer. I try to avoid anything from Mr. Bezos ie Amazon
