May be needing a 62 radiator. It seems that my trans may be running hot but I won't know for sure until I get a guage on it. LMK if you have something otherwise I'll just go with another Performance rad.

You running a seperate tranny cooler?

yes but I've been told and read more than once that it may not be enough. That said I believe Phill has about 150K on this exact setup w/o issue so I'm just tossing this out there for now.

I'll be adding a Trans temp gauge next week just to help ease my mind and I'll be eble to know exactly what's going on all the time.

Ah, that makes sense then.

Been through the 62 tranny temp thing. Let me recommend 2 things BAP parts for a great radiator (they have always been good to me) and the Hayden 679 X-HD. I bought one last year and it has worked great. I tested it by driving through the Salt River Canyon on July 5th, climbing out at WOT the entire time. Never saw the tranny light once.

I can take pics if you need, at least until it sells.... Guy coming from PHX tomorrow!...

My set up did not run through the radiator, only the cooler. Had a Hayden digital trans temp for years on a stock trans and never saw 200* FWIW

What makes you think your trans is running hot?

Not sure if it is or not. My tranny guy put the friggin bug in my ear though that he didn't think the cooler was big enough. My intention is to hook up a trans temp gauge this week and see what that tells me before I jump the gun on a new radiator. Just wanted to put a feeler out to see if anyone had one available just in case.
