Hey guys I needed help identifying my carby.
My cruiser is on dual fuel gas/petrol and I have just recently bought another carby from another 62 but there slightly different because of this cast housing between the carb and the air intake, that has hoses running into.
I mainly just wanted to clarify that there only different setups because of one carby being on dual fuel and one only on petrol and if I’m able to remove it and place the other carby on as long as I’m not using gas
Thanks

if anyone can give me any pointers, would be appreciated,
1- should i even keep it on gas or just remove it and how do i remove it, is it as simply as disconnecting everything that involves gas
2- how does it go on dual fuel for performance and fuel consumption
3- im also having issues with it stalling below 1000rpm, i dont think theres a vacuum leak i sprayed carb cleaner around and couldnt hear it rev up. i believe it might be the IAC or the carby i was told is not returning the butterfly flap all the way and is slighlty open on return
the last point(3) is why i wanted to try a new carby to see if it was the flap or iac

Looks like the one fitted currently has a gas mixer ring fitted to the top of the carby.

To remove it legally you'll need to have the work done by a mechanic licenced to work on LPG systems, and update the details with VicRoads.

LPG you'll typically have higher fuel consumption and lower power output. In an EFI vehicle with the ability to run multiple ignition maps or a liquid or vapour injection system this is improved but they'll still typically use more and make less power.

You don't have an IAC, this is on an EFI vehicle = idle air control.

IMHO gas is for barbecues and is a good way to get burnt exhaust valves and all sorts of other problems, especially in a dual fuel setup.

Ya I think I’m gonna get rid of the gas to much hassle, and I thought I had a idle control solenoid, it’s this thing on the carb right

I'd agree with getting rid of the LPG setup, with LP at close to $1 a litre it really doesn't stack up anymore.

The ICS is what you're after, idle control solenoid - IAC is for idle speed control on EFI engines like 3F-E, 1FZ-FE etc.
