Hey all,

After owning my fj60 for two months I've had it to the veteran Toyota mechanic at the Toyota dealer twice. While he does do good work I can't stand paying the hourly rate any longer. Does anybody recommend an FJ 60 repair book that is good for a beginners level do-it-yourselfer?

If only someone had a link to a downloadable pdf of select FSM's in their signature line???
(Look down)

Also, the Haynes FJ60 manual is a good place to start, but limited.

If you're looking for a concise non-FSM repair guide (and I advise making the FSM your go to guide), I'd skip the Haynes book and go for the Max Ellery guide instead.

The beauty of the scanned FSMs in pdf format is that you can print two pages on both sides of a sheet, get it spiral bound at kinkos and have a more compact FSM. Or you can just keep a copy on your phone/ipad/laptop, but then there's the problem of greasy hands, running out of juice at the worst possible time, etc.
