I was able to pick up a pair off of another 60. We stopped at Classic Cruisers in Poncha Springs, Colorado on the way to SAS #2 and one of his parts trucks had them. As far as I know they are NLA from Mr T. Rattles are all gone now in the rear seat area.
NLS?

I edited the post. Big thumbs and a little keyboard. No Longer Available. ^^^^^^^^

I've been thinking about 2 options ...

1: Coat the post in flex seal.
2: Make the rubber pad at home by pouring flex seal into a mold and trimming it to size.

Not sure if either will work, but I like having options!

I wrapped mine in electrical tape

Just went and pulled it out to measure. Its been so long I was mistaken on the silicone tubing. I now remember I picked it up in the gardening section of the hardware store. Its denser than a silicone, probably a PVC of some sort. 1/2"o.d. x 3/8" i.d.

Do you recall what size you used?

Not much to see but here it is in place

I got a slight rattle and squeak back there too

@beno informs me that piece is NLA. Shocker.

I think maybe sourcing some new phat rubber bumpers and possible spacing the bracket a bit away from the body with some thin shim material will work.

Turns out my rattle is the lift gate.

I raised it and drove and it’s gone.

So. Any idea how to get these thing tighter?

I haven't replaced my rear hatch seals yet, but curious if replacing would tighten that back up. Of course you could always look for some adjustment in the latch mechanism...just thinking out loud.

I replaced the seals already. Some grease and tape on the latch hook stopped it but likely not for long.

oh hell, just take the seat out and replace it with this. You'll never miss it. and when the misses says you have to take the kids somewhere just tell her to take them in her car.
