Im thinking about using a heim joint instead of a tre? what do you guys think?

I swapped to Heims on a old build once. I kept my truck streetable and the ride quality suffered quite a bit on the road(Also not DOT approved). If it's just for trail use go for it. They are quite a bit stronger.

Here is my new setup, still hits a bit, going to eliminate the large lock washer and go with a nyloc nut, should give me enough room

Bump stop

Do you have a bump stop in place for the upward travel?

It almost looks like the drag-link(bolt through heim-joint) will still hit the frame?

I took the stock bumpstop and dropped it an inch and a half, and Ya it rubs a little

would a steering box out of a RHD help you out? I'm thinking the pitman would be on the inside of the frame.

So the pitman are from sky manf. came in, it is a work of art, just not sure it's gonna work,
