Question for you TLC paint gurus - I have a 1985 FJ60 painted in 8B4 (dark blue metallic) with some serious oxidation going on. Does anyone know if this color and year was single stage paint or base/clear coat? I have been having a hard time figuring this out - if anyone knows or can point me in the right direction, would appreciate it!

J is correct... A buddy also told me another good indicator is that if it is considered a "metallic" type paint/color then it is 98% of the time a BC/CC. Single Stage with a metallic flake/fleck in it is next to unheard of.
