I need a transition gear to connect my 16 spline four speed to my three speed transfer case. I also need the pto gear as well. If anyone has any idea where I could get these, I would be greatful for the information. Thanks
Mudmonster44- Yes I think it will work. Do you have pics? I know the early aircleaners around 71, 72, and 73 were cannister type and had a 4 bolt support from the side. What price were you thinking?
I'll wait to see if you have pics and check SOR.com for more info.
I have wheels and hubcaps. I can send pics of the them. The wheels have surface rust and are gray. You can have them for $150 plus shipping. Let me know. Tim
Aaron, I've got one from a '71 F engine. You'll likely want to modify what ever one you get as it looks like it draws from the engine compartment. There is NO means to attach as hose to the intake without cutting off the belled intake first. How much clearance do you have on the drivers side as this sits down quite low on that side. It MAY interfere with smog pumps and/or hoses or other stuff on that side of the engine. If you're interested I'll compare it to the '2/76 2F that's coming out of the FJ55 today and see exactly what might be in the way.
Don, I have a custom built rack for a FJ40 I need to sell. I am in the Hampton Roads area (Poquoson). It has mounts for a Hi-Lift Jack, Shovel, and Axe. It does need one of the mounts welded back on, due to snagging a tree
Thanks- I am concerned that the stuff I added over on the DS may interfere with the aircleaner from the F engine. I added a rather large PS cooler line from a Ford van on that side. Does your aircleaner include a bracket that bolts the cannister to the cruiser itself? Also do you think this aircleaner would fit a rochester carb?
FYI- I eventually want to add a snorkel or fording system as my family has property in a remote area near Canada that requires two water crossings in spring. Without the cruiser setup this waY I doubt this area would be accessible.
I've got a set off my '79 that will be available shortly, currently located in Oak Harbor, I put them on my friend's rig to move it around until his shop is done, pretty good shape, a little surface rust, but better than most I've seen.
Make me an offer, or do you have some others you'd like to trade?
Mike,
Well I plan on selling these (5) wheels hubcaps and tires, but not until I've got the stock ones ready to go on. The tires are 31"x 10.5 x 15's Bigfoot A/T with 75% of the tread left on them. The wheels are 8" wide with 3.25" backspacing chromed steel with chrome moon hubcaps Where are you located.
Roger
