i met the drunk idiot down the street yesterday, made a deal with him on the fj40 but won't be able to pick it up for another 2.5 weeks. it has'nt run in over 5 years, so i would'nt bank on that engine being a "drop-in". and that rig is clean and complete enough for me to get it running the way it is.

saw you poking around other threads for the a/c compressor and also adjustable vents... I have a set of vents from that same 60 that donated the a/c compressor.

I'll throw the vents in for another $10... $85 for the a/c compressor and two adjustable vents delivered to your door.

I know of a very good upper and lower tailgate (white) out of an '89 or '90 FJ62 in Mississippi. There are a few other parts like the vents and grab bars etc as well. Let me know if you are interested.
