Donald, Did you find that heater valve you needed? I still have one if you need it. I also have the disc brake parts you need but shipping would be too high. Can't you find a 79-85 minitruck axle near you? I buy them all the time for $200 - $300

hey hows it going? No I haven't got that heater valve yet, I PMD you over on Pirate. I've been thinking about calling, I just haven't had the time. I'll call you, I really need to get that valve. I haven't even checked the local pick and pull's here yet for that axle, I guess I should. So $200 - $300 is a good price for one? What year is the best? I've read all the tech stuff here about the swap, is it really as easy as it sounds? I've never done anything like the disc brake swap before. I've got a guy out here that will do the entire conversion with parts for about $600, is this reasonable?

NEED fj60 rear axle assembly in INDY

Going wider and need the housing and axles. NO third member, or brakes needed. I have $$ or stuff to trade, including the SO fj40 axle with gm disks installed (w/o third member) I pulling off. It has ALL PRO weld on spring perchs and plates included, traction bar too if ya want it.

Kinda in a pickle and hoping my fellow mud haters will help a guy out! Thanks msmythe@iei.net

PTO Gearshift Flap

Hi,
Looking for the little hinged flap that goes on the transmission hump hole that the PTO gearshift lever fits through. Not a big item but I guess if someone has one to spare I'd love to have it.

I might have the bumper your looking for.
Do you have a pic of just what it looks like?
Mine come off a 63, but it looks different than any other fj40.
I did see one like it in the spectre catalog
