2F ('84 FJ60) Cylinder head needed

I have one. It's from an 81 2F. Located in VA, 23696. I'm trying to buy a non-us head to swap in. Maybe we can work something out. It's in good condition. The truck had 80,000? Miles and ran fine before I started the frame off. SDC

Probably 6**** something.

need third member and v8 advice

I am going to do a SOA on a 1984 FJ60 and am planning on running 35s. The stock gearing is 3.73? I would like complete third members so I don't have to worry about rebuilding my existing third members. I am also planning on doing a v8. I recently did a v8 swap in my fj40 (SBC 283). I have another 283 and am planning on using it because the one I put in my 40 ran sweet with plenty of power. I was wondering if going with a ranger torque splitter was the way to go or do a h55f? I don't know of any problems with the torque splitter but I don't know a whole lot about them. Any help would be great.

do you mean the tie rod? long rod that runs between the two steering arms bolted near the front wheels?

Stock Wheels

It seems these wheels are everywhere until I need some.
I'm looking for 4 or 5 of the early 40 wheels (gray) with the hup cap clips.
Appearance is not important as I can blast and paint them if need be.
Thanks,
Brog

Stock Wheels

I have 5 stock wheels off of a 72 FJ40. 4 of them have been sand blasted, epoxy primed then painted pewter gray with urethane pant. The 5th. wheel needs to be blasted and painted. I was going to use them on my project but I decided to go with 4 wheel disc brakes so I need newer ones. I would like to get my money out of them out of them, which is $160.00. Let me know if you are interested. I also have 5 almost new 950-33 BFG mud terrain’s I would sell if I sell these wheels.

Re:40 ubolt locator

simple welding of 1/8 or 1/4" round would be just a easy. dont remember what did with mine.

BTW in a SOA the SUA perches line them up.

Re:40 ubolt locator

yea, I figured the old perches would work, but half the reason for SOA is to clean up the bottom of the axles, I thought it would be easier to find this piece, but I will take your suggestion and just bang out a similiar piece out of 3/16 flat stock. Thanks.

Re:40 ubolt locator

LOL, you could cut the old perches the follow the curve of the u bolts, so it visually would look better then leaving them uncut. Then you could cap them off, depends how anal you are, LOL.

or you could mount little steel roller wheels on the front of the perches so it would help you go over rocks, ha ha.
